What is clean eating?

Clean Eating…where to even start?

For those of you who have spent some time with me in a supermarket (or simply followed my Facebook or instagram profiles), you would be well aware that after living in the USA (in total), for well over a year now, and seeing the differences between what is used in the food supply here, compared to other countries I have visited (including my homeland Australia), that I feel very strongly about there being too many ingredients (that are man made) in the foods available on the shelves. Im not against anything man made as a blanket statement, but I certainly find there are additives and preservatives that for one reason or another are banned on some continents, and allowed in others…and that in itself makes me cautious.

With this in mind, I thought I would share this weeks body + soul editorial that was printed back in Australia on Sunday morning around shifting to a more whole food based diet, and how small changes are better than no changes in the context of reaching your health and wellbeing goals!
