Sugar free chocolate protein icing spread March 18, 2016 healthy products, recipes, weight management 1 Comment Hi everyone, I know you probably think by now I am a little nutcase with all the random unique healthy products I seem to source and mix through my recipes, but when you can eat something as delicious as this and know that it is not only not bad for you, but it actually has nutritional benefits I say lets all be nut cases together! Today I bring to you my sugar free chocolate protein icing spread that can be enjoyed over your preferred bread, healthy pancake…or spooned directly from the blender if you should so desire! sugar free chocolate protein icing spread It can claim the following nutritional claims: Sugar free High prebiotic fibre Low glycemic load Resistant starch containing High protein Nut free Lactose free Gluten free sugar free chocolate spread Sugar free chocolate protein icing spread Icing ingredients: 2 scoop MRM Nutrition chocolate whey protein isolate 1 heaped tbsp Isowhey cacao (add more cacao if you would like a darker chocolate spread, and increase the water slightly to ensure the paste doesn’t get stuck in the blender) 2 heaped tbsp Vitafiber prebiotic fibre liquid sweetener (Australians can use Progurt branded version until this is available in Australia) 1 tbsp Isowhey coconut oil 1/2 tsp Natural Evolution Foods green banana flour – resistant starch 2 tbsp water – add in slowly until the spread is at your desired thickness sugar free chocolate sauce Decorations: 1 tbsp Isowhey sacha inchi seeds 1 tbsp Hemp Foods Australia hemp seeds Method: Place all icing ingredients except 1/2 of the water in a high speed blender. Mix a little with a spoon so that all the dry ingredients are not at the bottom of the blender by themselves. Then begin mixing on a low speed Add water in slowly until you reach your desired thickness for the spread and then increase the speed of the blender to create a smooth paste.
