Best Fitness Accessories

Hi everyone,

While the weather is still warm in Australia, and I get excited about the Spring and Summer that are ahead of me here in NYC I thought it would be a fitting time to share with you a quick guide to some of my must have outdoor activity gadgets, accessories, and accompaniments that have made for overall enhanced days in the park in recent times.

After Belkin and Laser reached out to me to check out the abundance of fitness related products they have on hand, I road tested quite a few, and narrowed down my favourite few to the compiled list below.

How many times do you go for a walk in leggings or shorts without pockets, and not want to take your handbag/bag, but still have to worry about your keys, wallet, or phone, and have to hold them on the go?

..And how about trying to exercise after a long day to music on your phone, but then having your phone die on you mid-way?

Be it healthy snacks to refuel, phone accessories to ensure no technical breakdowns, or special journaling books to ensure we conclude our afternoon feeling calm in the mind, there is bound to be a couple of enlightening options from the following;

  1.  Clip-Fit Armband for I-phone

Light weight, easy to clip your phone in and out of, and the adjustable strap means it really will fit the arm width of those with bigger or smaller arm circumferences; I have used it whenever I go running or jogging and don’t have any other items except my phone to keep on me.

2.  Fitness Belt for I-phone

This awesome fitness belt is sweat proof, light weight, and sits flat on the body; I have worn it every time I go for a walk (which is almost daily) since getting my hands on it. I even fit my dogs lead in it when I was in Australia, and it didn’t look bulky at all!

3.  MIXIT Metalic Power Pack

Gosh this has been my life saver when it comes to wanting to exercise with music after a long day out without a chance to charge my phone; the power pack can recharge an i-phone up to 3 times!

Well this one is a no-brainer given its needed with the item above 🙂 It connects my power pack directly to my phone and is super sturdy, compact, and has a fast data transfer time.

5.  Bluetooth Sports (necklace) Earphone

These connect wirelessly to my i-phone via bluetooth; you can adjust the volume, skip songs, and answer calls all via the pendant that sits around the neck. They are also sweat resistant which is a little added bonus!

6.  Gratitude journal

When going for a more relaxed day in the park I also take my gratitude journal! I fill in 3 thing I am grateful for each day as a way of consciously acknowledging and appreciating the good that I have in my life. I find it a great way of helping me stay positive about life, even on the slower or mentally tougher days.

7.  Home made gut strengthening protein clusters

I wouldn’t be me if there wasn’t healthy snacks available in arms reach! These protein packed clusters are a mix of nut butter, protein powder, green banana flour, tigernut flour, plus some vanilla, cinnamon, natural sweetener and salt. They offer a great satisfying snack for if hunger ever starts to set in.
